The figures in my paintings are not portraits in a traditional sense, but carriers of psychological and emotional states. Through subtle gestures, light, and color, I aim to evoke something internal\u2014something felt rather than fully defined.\nMy practice is rooted in classical oil painting, and I am drawn to the tension between control and openness within that tradition. I often begin with a direct, intuitive approach, then gradually build the surface through layers, allowing the image to evolve over time.
